WALKERS ARE WELCOME

On Sunday 22nd April, I joined Llandysul & Pont-Tyweli Walkers are Welcome/Croeso I Gerddwyr on a Springtime Walk, through gorgeous woodland, along the coast and past the Afon Soden Waterfalls, Nanternis, and down to the beach at Cwm Silio.

I was asked to capture the essence of the walk and the experience of those partaking, for the community group's promotional photography. They're holding a Walking Festival from 28 – 30th September later on this year, and need fresh photographs to help publicise the event and to get people involved.

It was a great morning. I've walked parts of the route before (it's only 20 minutes away from where I live!) but there were parts of the walk that I had never seen or walked before - amazing. For the most part, it was dry and sunny, with the exception of one downpour!

People took lots of photos (not just me!)

Some cute dogs joined us too 😍

We sat and ate lunch at the side of a waterfall

Everyone was so lovely and friendly! Lots of chats were had between friends, both old and new, as we strolled on round the coastal path and back up through the woods and past the waterfalls.

Such a great day! I'll definitely be joining Walkers are Welcome again in the future.
